Beads…and more beads
I’ll leave the quirkies for the moment because I made a discovery. Exploring the larger mall at Tysons Corner Center 1 in Washington DC I took a fairly random turn looking for a place to get some food.
It was a bit of a culdesac and I was about to turn back when I saw what looked like a confectionery store – and it was – of an altogether different kind.
The place was called ‘Beadazzled’. Yes, a bead shop – a laaarge bead shop!
So naturally I had to do a reccy for Sharon and, well, perhaps the place had reasonable prices too.
Suffice to say – it’s a surprise (so don’t tell her) I’ll let her open the package when I get home 🙂
Cheers

That is the ultimate torture. You are a cruel man. (But probably nice underneath)
What is even worse – you didn’t show us any close-ups of the stock!

I agree with Chloe that we need a close-up but what a wonderful DH to surprise Sharon with this fantastic gift. Is this why there is No close-up?

Hehe! Thanks for the lovely comments 🙂
… and yes the specific gift is a surprise. I also thought it would be rude of me to take photos of the stock inside the store. They do have a website that I was assured was in the process of being updated.

Jerry, you are a sweet husband!! Also a great traveller…I grew up just north of Washington D.C. and worked downtown for over twenty years. I’m deliriously happy in Texas w/DH, but I confess I miss the flavor of D.C. I can’t believe you found the only diner around! I used to love to go there and to visit the Smithsonian on weekends w/my DD. I hope you have/have had a wonderful, wonderful trip!!

Thank you Sarah 🙂
Yes I’ve had a wonderful visit so far. The people have been so friendly and the weather is perfect. You have a great resource in the Smithsonian – it’s a real treasure.
Cheers
